Consultancy - National Rugby League
In 2000 I was commissioned by Mr Mark Wallace, Marketing Director of the National Rugby League (NRL) to research aspects of the rugby league fan.  The resultant consultancy report "A Comprehensive Assessment and Evaluation of the National Rugby League Fan" was utilised by the NRL and their advertising agency to formulate a marketing plan and advertising strategy.  The research will continue throughout the 2001 season.

Consultancy - Wests Tigers Rugby League

In season 2000 I worked for Wests Tigers Rugby League on aspects of their marketing.  The club undertook a questionnaire based survey which I was required to analyse and report on.  Following this I made various recommendations for marketing action and future research.

Consultancy - National Rugby League Referees
In addition to my work with the marketing department of the NRL I have been working extensively with the NRL Referees and in particular Peter Louis and Brian Grant.  My brief is to prepare a simple strategic plan for the next three years from which the NRL referees can work to innovate and maintain their present effective operation.  I have also begun work on a new game performance appraisal system which the referees will utilise during the 2001 season.   This research will continue throughout the 2001 season.
